Didactum Dry Contact devices

Didactum`s dry contact units offer two states:

  • „normal“ - dry contact is in normal state
  • „alarm“ - dry contact is in alarm state

If needed, the inversion of dry contact is defined by setting a status field ctlDiscretReversed (default is "0“).

The port number of each dry contact input is shown in field ctlDiscretHardwarePort.

To check available dry contact inputs just use

$ snmptable -Ci -Cb -v2c -cread DIDACTUM-SYSTEM-MIB::ctlDiscretsTable

SNMP Table:

SNMP table: DIDACTUM-SYSTEM-MIB::ctlDiscretsTable

To set up an inversion of an dry contact with ElementID=50:

$ snmpset -v2c -cwrite DIDACTUM-SYSTEM-MIB::ctlDiscretReversed.10 i 1

DIDACTUM-SYSTEM-MIB::ctlAnalogReversed.0 = INTEGER: 1
