Quick Install Guide AC Current Transducer

Didactum's AC current transducer can measure AC voltage up to 100 A. This transducer consists of a plastic housing with built-in AC current loop and a 4-PIN terminal. In or der to transmit the measured data to the IP-based remote measuring units, the optionally available sensor AC transmitter is mandatory.

Important security instructions regarding electrical work: ?The regulations and safety rules for electrical work must be followed during the installation of this AC instrument transducer. For electrical installations, always instruct a qualified electrician. The technical specifications of the AC Transducer must never be exceeded.

Extension of sensor cable

The maximum insulation voltage of this AC current transducer is 2kV. The transducer supply  AC power cables with a max. diameter of 10mm. To do this, simply open the cover of the current transformer and insert the power cable non-invasively. After inserting the power cable, the current transformer is simply closed again. It should be noted that the maximum distance between the AC transducer and the IP based meter may be up to 50 meters (164 ft). After you have inserted the power cable and reconnected the current transformer, install it to a suitable mounting location. M4 screws and M4 nuts for attachment are included.

The sensor transmitter (must be ordered separately) is then connected to the ribbon cable included in the delivery. The green connector of the ribbon cable is then connected to the transducer. Then attach the sensor transmitter. Mounting material can be found in the packaging of the sensor. Then connect the sensor transmitter with the supplied 2 meter patch cable.nThe other end of the cable is connected to a 50/100 IV (DC)/400/500 II (DC)/700 series IP-based remote monitoring & monitoring system.
