Graphical representation of the sensor status in real time
The current status of the elements and the connected IP sensors is also shown graphically in the webGUI. If a sensor reaches a critical condition, the display changes from green to red. In our example, the IT infrastructure was entered without authorization. The SNMP-capable motion detector and the infrared light barrier indicate the change of state due to color change.

Definition of individual limits and threshold values for the connected IP sensors
Individual limits and threshold values can be defined for the IP-capable intelligent sensors connected to the web-enabled remote measuring and monitoring system (Low alarm level / Low warning level / Normal state / High warning level/ High alarm level). The useful additional hysteresis functions supports the fine-tuning of the IP-capable sensors.

Set up notifications, alarms and automatic actions
You can define individual notifications and alarms in the "Logical scheme" menu. Automatic actions, such as relay switching, can also be defined. In our example, we have determined that an email alarm and an SMS notification are automatically sent to the responsible administrators and technicians at a critical temperature in the server room. Up to 500 actions and rules can be stored in the logics of the SNMP enabled Monitoring System 100.

Video surveillance of sensitive rooms and facilities
If you have connected the optional USB video camera with day / night vision function, the video evidence can be forwarded by e-mail, FTP upload or directly your smartphone (optional LTE- or GSM- modem needed). In addition, the images from up to 4 IP cameras can be displayed in the webGUI.

Mapping of a map or site plan in the IP based monitoring device
The integrated site plan is used to quickly locate risks and hazards within the infrastructure. The map function of Didactum supports Live Sensor Mapping, i.e. the critical conditions are displayed flashing on the map. In our example, we created the IT rack with Microsoft Visio and loaded it into the network-based monitoring system.

Creating users and their rights in the SNMP-capable remote monitoring & control unit
Here you can see the user administration. The read and write rights of the individual users can be easily defined in the multilingual webGUI. Of course, the remote monitoring hardware of Didactum also supports OpenRADIUS.

Access control and access control Didactum monitoring device
On request, the web-enabled remote infrastructure monitoring system can also control the access to sensitive rooms and facilities. For this purpose, connect the electronic key reader to the optional available 1-Wire module. Every important event can be reported by e-mail, SMS, SNMP trap and also by signal light. Every access is recorded in the Syslog database of the remote monitoring and control unit, including time and date. A video recording can also be provided on request.

Configuration of CAN multi sensors and CAN devices in webGUI
In the menu "CAN Configuration" the optionally available digital multi-sensors, sensor boxes and extension units are configured. The dry contact unit supports up to 64 floating contacts. Each digital / dry contact input can be individually named and configured in the WebGUI. Afterwards you define desired notifications and alarms such as e-mail, SMS, relay switching or SNMP traps.

Here you can see the most important settings of the monitoring system
The most important basic settings of your SNMP-capable remote infrastructure monitoring and control system are made in the webGUI under "Preferences". Here you set up the language, network, time, DynDNS, SNMP, radius and VPN settings etc. The Modbus RTU settings (optional feature) for Modbus capable sensors and energy meters are also configured here.

System menu of the web-based infrastructure monitoring system
The firmware is updated in the "System Menu" of the IT monitoring system. Here you can also export the basic settings for the backup or cloning of the device configuration.
